Private Training Information and Policies

Register for a private session or package.

• Registration is available online through our website www.carolark.com

• We encourage you to utilize packages of lessons.  Behaviour concerns are unlikely to resolve without management of the situation, changing your behaviour and handling and consistency with the recommended training.

• You can pay for a private session or package through Stripe on the website, etransfer to carolark@carolark.com, or by credit card over the phone. 

Provide Information

• Please ensure that you fill out the brief questionnaire presented as you register online.  This is to provide us with an understanding of the goals/behaviours you are concerned about. If you schedule an appt over the phone the link to the questionnaire will be sent to you. 

Cancel an appointment.

• The unexpected happens, if you give us at least 24 hours notice if you cancel an appointment, we will provide a full refund (minus $25 processing fee) or leave a credit on your account for future use.  We have scheduled a trainer to be available for your lesson.  Notice will give us the opportunity to schedule another client.

• Credits or refunds will not occur after a scheduled lesson’s timeslot has passed.

• No shows for a scheduled activity/appointment will NOT be transferred/rescheduled, credited, or refunded

• Sometimes instructor illness or weather forces us to cancel an appointment.  When that happens, you will receive an email and phone call notifying you of the cancellation.  We will schedule you into the next available appointment. 

• If you are having a medical or family (including your dog) emergency (except for spay/neuter) we will apply a credit to your account and you can reschedule at your convenience.  No processing fee will be charged.  If you require a refund, we will apply the processing fee of $25. 

Who can attend.

• Dogs do best with consistency, so we encourage more than one member of the household to come to the appointments. 

Prepare for your session.

• Bring a flat buckle or flat snap collar or a harness and a leash; your dog’s favourite treats and chew toys (maybe a stuffed kong); water and a bowl.  Please bring any other equipment you are utilizing when out with your dog.
