Alana Seraphin CPDT-Ka

Alana caught the training bug in the mid-nineties while clicker training the family fox terrier. Since 2011 she has been training dogs professionally in group classes and private training. Since 2007 Alana has been a Veterinary Assistant in a busy General Practice and Emergency Hospital and has moved to the Specialty Surgery Department in 2018. In 2015 she became a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT- KA) and a member of the Pet Professional Guild. She is also a Fear Free Elite Certified. Alana has had the privilege of working alongside a Board-Certified Veterinary Behaviourist for the last 2 and a half years. Alana stays up to date on current developments in the science of learning and training by attending conferences and webinars regularly.

Her passion is in helping animals and their owners enjoy learning new things, training reactive or shy dogs to become more comfortable in their surroundings and helping to train dogs to be comfortable with veterinary-related treatments.

At home, she enjoys training her Picardy Shepherd. Alana is fluent in English and German.
