Tanya Lemaire

Tanya has a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences, Concentration in Sociology, which she has put to use in her career with the Federal Government in Human Resources. But more importantly, Tanya has owned, trained and worked with horses and dogs starting with her first horse in 1986. She achieved her Equine Instructor Certification for both able and disabled persons in 1994 and owned her own horseback riding business for several years.

 

She joined the Carolark team in 2001 after falling in love with clicker training as she took all the training classes Carolark offered with her first Weimaraner puppy, Neo. After a hiatus from Carolark due to allergies, yes...she's allergic to dogs LOL, Tanya rejoined the team the fall of 2020. During her hiatus Tanya continued to enjoy a variety of activities with her dogs such as Search and Rescue, Tracking, Agility and Rally Obedience. These dogs included  a second Weimaraner, then a Beagle.

 

Tanya's family currently shares their home with a much loved Potcake named Luna.
