Sandy Crosby

Sandy is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA )  and an IAABC Accredited Dog Trainer   Sandy has been a team member and  teaching with us since 1997.

In the spring of 1993 she took her first Rottie, Schatzie, to Carolark, and seven dogs later is owned by her current boy, Bender.  Loving the friendly and positive style of working with her dogs she completed a comprehensive apprenticeship at Carolark and became an instructor in January 1997.  

Sandy is a member of the International Association of Animal Behaviour Consultants (IAABC), the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT),  and Responsible Dog Owners of Canada (RDOC).  To continue her education,  she attends the APDT and IAABC conferences in the US and others in Canada. 


To give back to the community she volunteered her time at a local shelter for two years and currently volunteers with BARK (Bytown Association of Rescued K9s) to work with their foster dogs and parents.

Congratulations to Sandy for being a recipient of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT) Member of the Year in 2015. The award was in recognition of volunteer service and contribution to APDT (Association of Professional Dog Trainers).
