“Training dogs and their people is a passion for all of us at the centre, we love what we do and that comes across as we educate dogs and their owners”. 

Carolark first opened its doors in 1992 due to the demand of owners needing a well-behaved family dog.  Carolyn Clark and a group of friends had been teaching dog training at various community centers in the Ottawa, Kanata and Stittsville areas.  With a little urging from her friends, Carolyn took the plunge and opened Carolark and the rest is history.
 
The dedicated staff at Carolark, have always been on the cutting edge of kind but scientific methods of dog training, studying with world leaders in the field.  Carolark has maintained excellence in training winning various community awards for its outstanding service and quality. After over 18 years in “the business” Carolyn decided to hand over the reins to two capable and enthusiastic members of the team Nicky Barham and Jo-Ann Steele.

Jo-Ann and Nicky will continue to operate the business just as it has always been, they pledge to maintain the high standards people have come to expect at Carolark while at the same time bringing a new flair and excitement to the dog training business.  They invite existing and new clients to come and check out the revamped Carolark.

Recent research has shown that good-manners training is the single most common factor that keeps dogs out of shelters and in their home for their entire life.  Carolark uses only positive training methods that have been proven to strengthen the animal human bond. They want owners to understand dogs and how they think and learn, but most of all, they believe that training should be fun for you and your dog.
